Chinese families pay respects at the tombstones of their ancestors at a
graveyard in Huaibei, Anhui province on April 1, 2006. Wednesday is the
traditional Chinese Qingming Festival, also known as Tomb Sweeping Day.
The festival falls on April every year. Besides marking the middle of
spring, the festival is a day to remember and honour one's ancestors.
