New Party Chairman Yok Mu-ming (C) wrote an inscription in front of
Lvshun Prison.

July 9 - Taiwan New Party's Chairman Yok Mu-ming and his delegation have
arrived in the coastal city of Dalian, in northeast China's Liaoning
Province.
This is the third leg of their Chinese mainland tour which marks the 60th
victory anniversary of China's anti-Japanese war.
The top party leader of Liaoning province Li Keqiang held a banquet to
welcome the Taiwan delegation, which arrived from Nanjing.
Li said Friday that their visit highlights the fact that Chinese on both
sides of the Taiwan Strait share the same history as well as blood.
He said their tour would foster an atmosphere of unity among all Chinese
people and that only when the nation is united and works together can it
advance.
Yok Mu-ming said a nation must not forget its history, otherwise the
tragedies of history will be repeated. He said the aim of this trip was
to remind China's younger generation of historical lessons.
