Emeini Danxing Mulan

Emeini Danxing Mulanbelongs to the Magnoliaceae Family, with the Latin name ofParakmeria omeiensis. In China it's mainly distributed in regions of Emei Mountain in Sichuan Province in the western area.

Emeini Danxing Mulanis a sort of large arbor, which can attain the height of up to about 20 meters. It usually grows in broad-leaved evergreen forests 1,000-1,200 meters above sea level. The bark is dark grey and the twigs are smooth. The leaves are slender oval or obovarate and made of keratin.
Male flowers and hermaphrodite flowers grow on different individuals. The milky yellow male flower bears 12 tepals, with thin elliptic outer rings and obovoid or spoon-shaped inner rings. The hermaphrodite flower bears 8 to 12 pistils. The key distinction betweenEmeini Danxing MulanandYunnanni
